CAN VACUUM THERAPY HELP YOU MANAGE PAIN?

Vacuum therapy, or cupping, is one of the specialized therapies we offer our patients at Lindstrom Chiropractic when appropriate.  This therapy delivers increased blood supply to muscles and skin to relieve chronic and acute pain and muscle tension.  (Cupping created a mild sensation at the summer Olympics  when it was used to treat members of the U. LINDSTROM CHIROPRACTIC TO HOST PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION SEMINARS

Lindstrom Chiropractic will be the site for a series of certification seminars for physical therapists, chiropractors and podiatrists.  Seminars will be conducted June 16-18.

All of the sessions will be conducted by Dr. Emily Splichal, founder and CEO  of the Evidence Based Fitness Academy.  EBFA is a continuing education institute created to provide scientific and research-based curriculum for health and fitness professionals with a focus on foot fitness.

NEW TOOL ENHANCES SOFT TISSUE THERAPY

JOE BERENYI CAPTURES SILVER AT 2016 PARALYMPICS IN RIO

Joe Berenyi,  a highly decorated U. S. Paralympian, won a silver medal in cycling (3000m individual pursuit) at the 2016 Paralympics in Rio.

Joe's story is a remarkable one.  Back in the early 90s, he found success in a handful of amateur cycling races, but, in 1994, he put his bike away when a construction accident cost him his right arm and left kneecap.  Nearly 13 years later, Joe decided to join some of his neighbors for a ride and his love of cycling was reignited from there.  He only had 3 years of experience riding at the national level when he won 3 medals and set a world record at the 2012 Paralympics in London.  Since that time, Joe has participated in 4 World Championships, winning an additional 6 medals (4 gold, 2 silver),

Joe was named the USOC's men's Paralympic Athlete of the Year in 2015, and was nominated for an ESPY in '15 in the Best Male Athlete with a Disability category.
